Meek Mill Parts Ways With Roc Nation

Meek Mill has parted ways with Roc Nation Management Mill, who first signed with Roc in 2012 under a management deal, is no longer featured on the company’s website and has been removed from their social media pages. In 2019, Meek scored a joint venture deal with Roc for his imprint Dreamchasers, where he became president. LIL TJAY SHOT AND UNDERGOING EMERGENCY SURGERY

Rapper  Lil Tjay  is undergoing emergency surgery after being shot ... TMZ has learned. Tjay was shot just after midnight in Edgewater, NJ. He's currectly in surgery  extent of his wounds and his condition have not been revealed. We're told there were 2 shooting sites -- one at a Chipotle Restaurant and another at a nearby Exxon Gas station. The victim at the Chipotle restaurant was shot several times and the victim at the Exxon was shot once. We do not know the identity of the second victim. The suspect or suspects are still at large and police are on the hunt. So far, the motive is unknown. The incident went down in the middle of the night Wednesday in Edgewater, New Jersey. Source:Tmz

Police Invites Portable over jungle justice

The Nigeria Police Force have ordered a Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, to report himself over a Viral Video. Portable was seen in a viral video accusing a young man of sending a message to his ‘wife’, asking her to advise him to stay away from his friends for they had no glory. In the video, the ZaZu Zeh crooner asked the young man to name his friends whom he was accusing of having no glory. Without allowing his victim to say a word, the singer asked his boys to beat the helpless guy. As they pounced on the victim, Portable was heard in the Yoruba language, saying “e luu pa”, that is, “beat him to death.” Reacting, the Portable was asked to report to the Ogun State command as the incident happened somewhere within the state. Roddy Ricch  won’t be on stage for his Governor’s Ball performance in NYC today — instead, he’s in NYPD custody for multiple gun charges... TMZ Hip Hop  has learned. Roddy and his crew were stopped at a security checkpoint for the huge festival going down in Queens this weekend, and according to law enforcement sources … officers say they found a loaded firearm inside the vehicle he was taking to the show. Cops say there about 9 rounds of ammo as well as a large capacity magazine. We’re told the “Cooped Up” rapper was arrested, along with 2 other people riding in the vehicle. Dominican Republic Minister shot dead in his office

The Dominican Republic’s minister of the environment and natural resources, the son of a former president — was shot to death in his office by a close friend Monday, the office of the president said in a statement. Authorities said Orlando Jorge Mera was shot by Fausto Miguel de Jesús Cruz de la Mota, who was later arrested at a church dozens of blocks away after telling a priest he committed a crime and handed over a gun to him. A jury on Wednesday ruled in favor of Johnny Depp in his libel lawsuit  against ex-wife Amber Heard  vindicating his stance that Heard fabricated claims that she was abused by Depp before and during their brief marriage  The jury also found in favor of Heard, who said she was defamed by Depp’s lawyer when he called her abuse allegations a hoax. Jury members found Depp should be awarded $10.35 million in damages, while Heard should receive $2 million. The verdicts bring an end to a televised trial that Depp had hoped would help restore his reputation, though it turned into a spectacle of a vicious marriage. Peter Obi has resigned his membership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). He was one of the leading presidential aspirants of the PDP alongside former vice president Atiku Abubakar, former Senate president Bukola Saraki, Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike and Sokoto State governor Aminu Tambuwal. Director General, Peter Obi Campaign Organisation Doyin Okupe insisted that former Anambra State governor will be on the ballot for the 2023 presidential election. Reports said Obi has submitted his resignation letter to the chairman of his Ward in Anambra to notify him of his decision to quit the party. Plane crash land on Agege Motor Road

Aplane was seen on a busy Lagos road after suffering an apparent mishap Tuesday night, according to videos shared on social media, causing miles-long traffic congestion The airline, which did not appear marked, was seen on Agege Motor Road near the busy Ikeja Along Bus Stop, witnesses said. It was not immediately clear what happened to the plane, which had damaged wings, as accounts differ about its fate. Hundreds displaced in South Africa floods

By:Adesina Peter The country’s coastal city of Durban capital of KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) province is yet to recover from a deadly flood, which claimed the lives of at least 435 and left 54 people missing. No casualties have so far been reported in the latest case, but there has been widespread destruction, mainly in the metropolitan area of Durban. On May 20, 2022, the South African Weather Service (SAWS) placed the KwaZulu-Natal province on red alert for heavy rains and flooding. The heaviest rain fell on May 21, 2022. A survey by the South african Department of Trade, Industry and Competition has revealed that at least 826 companies were affected by the deluge with 31,220 jobs affected as a result of the flooding.

Russian diplomat to UN resigns over Ukraine

Office at Geneva says he handed in his resignation before sending out a scathing letter to foreign colleagues inveighing against the “aggressive war unleashed” by Russian President Vladimir Putin in Ukraine. Boris Bondarev, 41, confirmed his resignation in a letter delivered on Monday morning after a diplomatic official passed on his English-language statement to The Associated Press. “For twenty years of my diplomatic career I have seen different turns of our foreign policy, but never have I been so ashamed of my country as on Feb. 24 of this year,” “The aggressive war unleashed by Putin against Ukraine, and in fact against the entire Western world, is not only a crime against the Ukrainian people, but also, perhaps, the most serious crime against the people of Russia, with a bold letter Z crossing out all hopes and prospects for a prosperous and free society in our country," Bondarev wrote.

Australia’s new prime minister was sworn in on Monday,23rd May and flew to Tokyo for a summit with President Joe Biden while vote counting continued to determine whether he will control a majority in a Parliament that is demanding tougher action on climate change. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s center-left Labor Party ousted predecessor Scott Morrison ’s conservative coalition at Saturday’s election. The coalition had been in power under three prime ministers for nine years. Albanese, who describes himself as the first ever candidate for the office of prime minister with a “non-Anglo Celtic name,” and Malaysian-born Penny Wong, Australia’s first foreign minister to be born overseas, were sworn into office by Governor-General David Hurley before the pair flew to Tokyo for a security summit on Tuesday with Biden, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
